Amusement Parks

Nestled in Elysburg, Pennsylvania, far from city life and amongst the forests and valleys of the Susquehanna River, lies Knoebels Amusement Park and Resort -- pronunced (kuh-NO_bel)

A terrific amusement park that your family will love.  The atmosphere, prices and rides make this a wonderful park to visit.  In addition the park is impressively clean.  The rides are staffed by mature adults rather than all kids.  This wonderful park is family owned and operated. It is one of the largest free-admission parks in the country. Throughout the park's wooded grounds are more than 50 different rides including  rides for kids,  family rides and thrill rides.

Every ride in Knoebels has its own life and was once located in a park somewhere else.  Knoebels  rescues rides and either rebuilds,  or re-engineers them to fit within the park's borders. Features   include two world-class wooden roller coasters, a 1913 carousel, wonderful restaurants, games, a giant pool, waterslides, gift shop, entertainment as well as a campground, coal mining museuem and miniature golf course.

Knoebels park also has a lot of wonderful entertainment including magic shows, parades, jugglers, and a variety of singing troops and bands. You will enjoy the Motion Ride, where you experience seat movement that is coordinated with the action on the 3d screen.  Additional fun can be found at the shooting gallery, arcade, Laser Tag Game, miniature golf and bingo.   To view the current events at Knoebels click here:  calendar page.
