Camping is a low-cost way to
vacation. It allows you to see the country, create memories that
will last a lifetime, experience new things on a low cost budget.
However, when camping there is some equipment that will make your trip
more enjoyable as well as some that is absolutely necessary. It is
important that you have everything you need to make your travel safe,
comfortable and enjoyable when you are camping. It is imperative
that you plan for a camping vacation. Your camping list will vary
depending on the length of the camping trip, people in your group, and

Tips
Make sure you practice assembling your tent,
camp stove or any new equipment at
home in your yard so that you will not have any problems on
your trip.
Examine your
tent for holes and other defects by running a sprinkler or hose on it.
Arrive at the
campground during the day light. Look for a site that is flat,
smooth and on top of a hill to prevent your tent from flooding during a
rainstorm.
The ideal
site also offers a mix of sunshine and shade as well as some privacy.
Consider
camping near the lake, river or swimming pool depending on the
campground's amenities. Make sure the bath house is in close
walking distance in case you need to make a night time vistit. It
is much more convenient especially with kids.
