The Crayola Factory is located in downtown Easton, PA and it is a unique family discovery center.  It provides children with both educational and creative experiences.  I took my children when they were 4 and 7 years old and they had a terrific time.   Kids love be creative and here you have a whole museum that is dedicated to just that.  So how can you possibly go wrong!

The Crayola factory is composed of a series of fun stations that the kids will enjoy.  They will get to mold with Caryola's model magic, learn about color and light, project pictures on the walls using 35mm slides, try out "new" Crayola products, and draw on walls.  You can moving image is recorded by a video camera, and then processed by a computer that assigns it a color and pattern. Through computer processing you can your silhouette and movements come together on a screen to create art while you dance to the music. They can dry their beautiful art work in a child proof drying oven.  In addition, they will learn about the manufacturing process of crayons and markers.  This is simply a demonstration using real equipment it is not a factory tour.  It is very interesting to watch the process.  Be sure to get your sample from the workers doing the demo.  In the background there is a large electronic counter that constantly flashes the number of crayons in the world.

The Crayola Factory is on the second floor of the Two Rivers Landing Museum. Admission to the Crayola Factory includes admission to the  the National Canal Museum, which is also located in the building.  My kids also enjoyed this museum so be sure to check it out.
