Fall, Spring and Winter are the
best seasons to visit. The waterfall, which is three
stories high, will freeze in the cold weather and it makes a
beautiful site. Afternoons during the week will always be
less crowded than the
weekends.
The parking lot
is in the middle of the forest. There are no
trail maps available so you will just need to explore. There is
one path from the parking lot.
About two hours will be enough
time to explore
Ringing Rock Park.
It is an easy hike for most family members
but it is important to be prepared.

Ringing
Rocks Park provides people of
all ages with an opportunity to experience something
truly unique and well as the beauty of Pennsylvania.
You will find
that
about
one third of the
rocks which adds to the mystery of
this park. It is
great fun to bang around, in what looks like a dried up
riverbed, to find the "live" rock. That is the ones
that ring when they are hit.
The rocks by the waterfalls is
a great place to have a picnic lunch.
