Kids love animals, especially dogs, so what is better than some great movies on dogs.  We have selected some movies that your kids will adore.

Air Bud: World Pup - The third film in the Air Bud series.  Josh and his best friend, Tom Stewart, have just made their school's soccer team and it is discovered that Buddy, Josh's dog, can also play soccer! Before the blink of an eye, Buddy has a uniform and is on the roster, leading Josh's soccer team to the state championship. However, trouble occurs when Buddy's newborn puppies are kidnapped by two people who wants to sell them for cash.  Rated PG

Old Yeller - The moving story of a boy and his dog during the frontier days in the Texas hill country.  Strong and courageous, Old Yeller proved that he could protect Travis's family from any sort of danger.

Benji -A small loveable mix-breed dog who has an uncanny knack for being in the right place at the right time, usually helping a person overcome a problem. Not Rated

Lady and the Tramp - Lady, a lovingly pampered cocker spaniel meets Tramp, a mutt from across the tracks with a heart of gold and their adventures begin. Rated G

Homeward Bound - The Incredible Journey  - A bulldog named Chance, a Himalayan cat named Sassy and a Golden Retriever named Shadow band together to find their way home after being left by their owners at a friend's ranch. Rated G.

All Dogs Go to Heaven - The film tells the story of a dog, Charlie B. Barkin who is murdered by his gangster business partner Carface Carruthers, but who forsakes his place in Heaven to return and take revenge. Rated G

My Dog Skip - Depicts the relationship between a 9-year-old boy and his Jack Russell Terrier living in a small Mississippi town.  Rated PG

Beethoven - A story of  a St Bernard pup that grows into a 185-pound dog that causes all kinds of trouble. Kids will think it is hilarious.  Rated PG

Shaggy Dog - Tim Allen transforms from family dad to family dog when he  is accidentally infected with a top-secret, genetic-mutation serum.  Rated G

101 Dalmations - The story of a  London couple Roger and Anita who meet through a Dalmatian dog mix up.  They fall in love, marry and find themselves the happy "parents" of 15 beautiful Dalmatian puppies when their Dalmatians Pongo and Perdita begin a family of their own. Their happiness is short lived however when Anita's boss Cruella De Vil spots the puppies and immediately makes plans to have the puppies kidnapped so that she can turn their pelts into the extravagant spotted fur coat. Rated G

Shiloh - Marty Preston forms a bond with an abused beagle owned by a neighbor. His  father won't let him keep the dog make him return it .  So when the dog is abused again it runs to Marty and he makes a home for the dog in an old shed. His secret is soon discovered when he must turn to his father for help. Rated PG

Eight Below - Two Antarctic explorers are forced to leave their team of sled dogs behind as they fend for their survival. The plan is to return and rescue the dogs, but the mission is called-off and the dogs are left to fight for survival.  Rated PG


Snow Dogs - Ted Brooks is a Miami dentist who travels to Alaska when he learns that his birth mother has passed away. He finds his inheritance is a pack of rowdy sled dogs and his mother's property. What follows is a comedy detailing Ted's adventures in learning to run the sled dogs
