Review of
the Hawaiian Islands with Kids
Aloha,
my family and I just returned from a two week vacation in Hawaii. I
have been there twice before but this is a first time with the kids.
Hawaii is a fantastic vacation
destination for families.
We spent one week on
Maui and the other week on Oahu. Each island is spectacular with
beautiful turquoise water, blue skies, mountains, cool breezes, a
wonderful climate and tropical plants and trees. You will find a
variety of activities and tours available as well as great shopping and
wonderful restaurants. The locals are extremely helpful and very
friendly. The islands are safe so you can venture off to explore and
not worry. Hawaii is a real paradise and if you are fortunate enough to
have the option to visit it I would absolutely recommend it. The only
draw back is that the trip is a very long flight. Once you arrive
there you will not want to leave.
If you are flying from
the East Coast I would recommend an early morning flight out so that you
get there mid-afternoon. To return I would recommend a late
afternoon / early evening so that you will get home before noon the next
day.
