Activity of the Month:  Lacrosse

Types of Lacrosse...

 INSTRUCTIONAL  AND TRAVEL

Some youth teams start as young a 6 years old or 2nd grade. Most programs are offered to both boys and girls.  School programs in lacrosse begin in 7th grade and continue through college level. 

Regular lacrosse season will run from the beginning of April to Mid June.  Registration deadline is normally mid November.  Practice, which is 2 -3 times per week, will begin sometime in March.  Games approximately 8 - 12 regular season, will begin in early April.  Games will run 40 - 50 minutes

The registration fee for Instructional Lacrosse is normally between $75.00 - $250.00 with an additional processing fee of $25.00.

Travel lacrosse is much more expensive than instructional lacrosse.   In addition to your registration fee, which is approximately $60 - $175, you will also have tournament fees, uniforms, travel costs, clinics and membership fees.

Girl's Lacrosse is a non-contact game therefore they wear little protective gear.  Coaches will introduce stick checking but not until at least 7th or 8th grade.
