is based on skill level and ability rather than just age. The
Senior league is for children, ages 14-16, who have a solid
understanding of the sport and who have a very high skill level.
It is an extension of the local Little League to accommodate children in
this age group. This division provides a full range of
tournaments including the World Series tournament. Teams are
created after player evaluation. To play on a Senior league team
the player must attend the previous year's evaluations. Evaluations are
done in the Fall.
All Star Team:
Local leagues have the option to select an "All Star" team from their
Division to enter into State and International Tournaments. This
team is established to give the kids in 14 - 16 age group the
opportunity to experience competition.. Players can be chosen from
the Senior or Big Division teams to be included in this competitive
group. The culmination of the International tournament is the Little
League World Series featuring teams from around the world.
These teams are selected
either by tryouts or the recommendation of the coach. Tournament
level play begins following the spring season and will last through

years old before May 1 of the current year, is eligible for the Senior League.
