The club season for U14 and under is January to March or April and the season for high school ( U16 and up) is February to April or May.

The fees involved with rugby are reasonable compared to many other sports.  Registration fees range between $75 and $150 which may or may not include the cost of a uniform.  The cost of a uniform is approximately $45 to $50.

Informal, optional practices are usually offered in the Fall for high school rugby players and sessions are designed to focus on fitness and the development of basic skills. The high school competitive season runs from February to May. Teams generally begin with indoor practices two or three times a week in February.  Outdoor practices, depending on weather and field conditions, begin at the end of March.  There may be some scrimmages during this time to get ready for the season which begins in March and ends in May.

High School Rugby season concludes with local and regional championships.  Those teams that are successful will then move on to territorial and national events in May.

There are also optional summer tournaments and All Star programs in June and July.  Club teams also offer summer sessions that often run from the end of May to the end of July.

High school games are normally once a week.  The teams usually play 35 minute halves with a half-time break.  The play time is reduced by age to where 12 and under play 15 to 20 minute halves.  An adult game is 80 minutes with a half-time break.
