Ever go to one of your kid's games and have to sit on those cold metal bleachers, and wish that you had a cushion.  Well here is a way to show your team spirit with a set of colorful pennants that double as cushy bench warmers for those cold bleachers. The best part is that you can make them yourself and customize for your child's team!

 Hot Seat Cushions

 

CRAFT MATERIALS:
Gardener's kneeling pad (available at garden centers)

OR

14-by-8-inch piece of 1/2-inch-thick Fome-Cor (available at most art supply stores)

Note: If using Fome-Cor, cut a handhold in one end of it with a craft knife (a parent's job).

Acrylic paints or PERMANENT colored markers
Time needed: Under 1 Hour

Then print on names or slogans with permanent colored markers or use acrylic paints to decorate the surface with an image of a rolling soccer ball, a team mascot, or any other sport symbol.  Stencils can be used for tracing if desired.  Be creative and enjoy.
